PolishedAgency is Hiring a Social Media Manager

PolishedAgency helps businesses and creatives get more sales, visits, and engagement. We do this by creating better, more friendly social media experiences through content creation, strategy, and consultation starting with Instagram. We're nimble and we hustle hard.

The Social Media Manager oversees posting content for multiple Instagram accounts. You will continually review and optimize the work you produce and work alongside our CEO, who has a background in social media, to establish effective ways to refine your skills.

The task at hand:
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Post scheduled content to Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.

  • Review and optimize the work you produce, while making sure you develop as a creative problem solver.

  • Respond to comments on Instagram and help manage Social Media Groups.

  • Providing high-level strategy and tactics to implement with guidance from CEO.

  • Working with CEO to properly get projects and process off the ground.

  • Assist in developing companywide creative processes including content workshops, campaign work, and more.

  • Support CEO in workshops and Instagram campaigns for his personal acct.

The ideal candidate looks like this:

  • Basic Photoshop/Illustrator skills.

  • Must be willing to learn.

  • Solid caption writing skills.

  • Be flexible with and open to new processes, platform changes, and emerging technologies. We're a Small Business so you will be required to wear different hats at times.

  • Must be available to post content between 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM PST Monday through Friday. More hours will be available as we see fit.

  • Join weekly zoom meetings to go over goals.

  • In the first two weeks of training, you will be required to meet in-person, twice a week.

  • Be solution-oriented for any issues you may experience.

  • Photography skill is a plus.

  • Must have a strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

  • Have a strong understanding of brands in different industries.

  • This is a contract, remote, part-time position with potential for full-time.

  • Pay is $20/hr at 20hours/week

  • You will be required to sign an NDA.

  • Degree preferred, but not required.

You will best succeed in this role if you can get things done and are reliable. This isn't an easy position. The best part is that you will be able to concentrate on other projects, clients, or anything outside of our work as long as it's not on our time. We're a tight family that hustles hard, then we're free to do as we please on weekends or after hours.
